Areas of Interest	Matrix isolation infrared spectroscopic studies on conformations, weak complexes and high temperature species. Ab initio computations on the structure, energy and vibrational frequencies of complexes. In the initial part of my carrier, I was interested in the study of separation of lanthanide and other fission products from irradiated nuclear fuel using HPLC technique. Worked as Scientific Assistant at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay, (Jan 1981-Jul 1982) Involved in the production of different glasses and used flame photometer for the study of leaching of sodium from glass.
