About READIT

Madras Library Association - Kalpakkam Chapter (MALA-KC) and Scientific Information Resource Division (SIRD), Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) have been conducting a series of conferences on "REcent ADvances in Information Technology". The earlier conferences were conducted during 1995, 1997, 1999 , 2001 and 2005 (READIT-95, READIT-97, READIT-99, READIT-2001, READIT -2005, READIT-2007and READIT - 2009) which were well received by professionals engaged in IT and Library and Information Services from R&D and Academic Institutions.
