A.K. Bhaduri is new IGCAR
Senior scientist Arun Kumar Bhaduri has assumed office as Director of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) at Kalpakkam, 80 km from here, an official statement said.
He took over from S.A.V. Satya Murty on his superannuation on Thursday.
An alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, he joined the Training School of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre at Trombay in 1983 and was awarded the Homi Bhabha Medal for being the overall topper of his batch.
He joined IGCAR in 1984 and eventually become the Director of the Metallurgy and Materials Group.
