IGCAR :RTSD

The mandate of Real Time Systems Division (RTSD) includes design, development, testing and qualification of Safety Class-2 Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems for PFBR and FBRs.
It consists of Control System Development Section (CSDS) and Devices & Sensors Section (DSS).
RTSD is responsible for design & development of diversified fault-tolerant Real Time Control Systems, Safe & Secure PLC systems, VFD supervision system, Condition Monitoring Systems for rotating equipment, Data Diode, Data Exchange & Processing Unit and Sodium Electronics for PFBR and FBRs. Also, responsible for development of sensors based on Fiber Optics and MEMS technique for nuclear facilities.
