Providing state-of-the-art high performance scientific computing facility with advanced application software to meet the computing requirements of FBR design & basic research; development of computational intelligence based systems and software applications; technology development and deployment of wireless sensor networks and development of knowledge management solution.

Achievements

Commissioning and operation of 400 node Ivy cluster (180 TFLOPS, 500TB), and 134 node Neha cluster (16.5 TFLOPS, 24 TB)
Managing High-end workstations facility and large format printing/plotting facility
Implementation of Private Cloud solution for critical Intranet / Anunet services
Design and deployment of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) setup supporting around 1000 thin-clients distributed across IGCAR campus.
Development of Computational Intelligence (CI) models in the areas of FBR Core design and resource utilization of HPC Cluster
Development of indigenous secure desktop video conference system (Vi-Meet) and online web services (e-Procurement, online APAR, CSPORT etc)
Establishment of CCA licensed Certifying Authority for issuing DSCs
Deployment of WSN at FBTR for temperature, humidity, flow, vibration and pressure from inside and outside RCB; INSOT for the detection of sodium leak; SADHANA for temperature and humidity monitoring; CC for Temperature and humidity monitoring
